Goes Where You Go
Auto policies offer far-reaching protection that can be tailored and enhanced in any number of ways to fit any type business or size. Listed below are just a few of the options that are available on our Commercial Auto policies that can help keep you moving ahead. Some of the optional coverages that you may select include:
- Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability - If you or one of your employees are held liable for someone's injury or property damage, the policy can help protect your business against financial loss.
- Physical Damage (Collision) - Covers the damage caused by another vehicle or a stationary object, like a building, telephone pole, or guardrail.
- Physical Damage (Comprehensive) - Covers damages caused by a variety of risks, including fire, lightning, theft, vandalism, hail and flood.
- Hired Auto Physical Damage - Provides up to set limits in physical damage coverage for vehicles your business hires or borrows - as long as you have liability coverage on those you hire, and physical damage coverage on those you own.
- Hired Auto and Non-Owned Auto - Coverage for bodily injury or property damage that occurs during the use, loading or unloading of hired or non-owned vehicles used for your business.
- Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist - Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage protects you in case you are injured in an accident caused by the negligent operation of an uninsured auto or by a hit-and-run motorist. It also protects you in case you are injured by someone who has less liability coverage than necessary to cover the loss.
- Medical Payments for You or Your Passengers - Whether in an accident or struck by another vehicle, this provision pays your medical expenses (if they’re not covered by workers' compensation) as well as those of your passengers.
- Autos Rented by Employees - Provides rental coverage for your employees– in their own name.
- Electronic Equipment Coverage – This coverage includes popular electronics like a GPS or DVD player.
- Glass Repair - Get damaged glass repaired rather than replaced. Some companies will even waive your deductible.
- Lease & Loan Gap Coverage - Due to the steep depreciation in vehicle value, particularly in the first year of ownership, many insureds owe more on a total loss to their lease or lien holder than the actual cash value of the vehicle. These coverages ensure that gap is paid on behalf of the policyholder and – unlike most of our competitors - are provided at no additional charge.
- Temporary Transportation Expense - In the event your car is stolen, this coverage will help pay for alternate transportation.
- Airbag Coverage - Physical Damage coverage is expanded to cover the expense to reset or replace an airbag that inflates even if the covered auto incurs no physical damage.
